Rachel Corrie

Rachamim is Hebrew for Compassion or
Mercy. It is the Compassion a Parent
feels for a child. It is the Compassion of
the Creator.

Rachel Corrie was a twenty-three year
old Jewish American woman from Oregon.
She lost her life trying to prevent an
Israeli bulldozer from destroying the
home of a Palestinian family.

Rachel Corrie was exemplary of Rachamim.
She is a shining light of Judaism, one of
the world's great Religions.
