Some years ago while I was living in Tennessee
I read a dark surrealist novel, "The Blind Owl" by
Sadegh Hedayat. It is an allegorical book, although.
there wide disagreement what the allegory is about.
At one point of the novel the narrator stalks a woman
from incarnation through multiple reincarnations
and kills her each time. I thought this much be about
the Patriarchy, which like most oppressions leaves a
pile of bodies as it moves through history. This
helped to increase my counscienceness.

I believe the Patriarchy is a sickness that ruins
everyone it touches. We should have torn it apart a
long time ago.
